On Saturday June 20, 2020, The GenX Exposure Study hosted a virtual Fayetteville community meeting to discuss the water data that was shared with Fayetteville participants in May 2020.
Dr. Nadine Kotlarz presented the water report back data and Dr. Jane Hoppin provided some background on the GenX Study in Fayetteville. Dr. Detlef Knappe served as a panelist and answered several questions about water filters. Ms. Julie Woosley and Ms. Mercedes Hernandez from NC Department of Environmental Quality were also able to provide some insights on Consent Order activities that are currently on hold due to the pandemic.
